      • my b-i-law loved cb’s too, the one’s that say 10-4.lol
this coral gables kac 50 west palm beach.the following forecasts are based on weather analysis at 10;25 am eastern with continuous radar surveilance” i remember that still from when i was 10. he was an accountant then though or maybe he was already both.. idon’t know.

      • There are many hobbyist that love weather like Weather Geeks. As a Meteorologist in Germany I did a review of the weather of a storm. The 4-star General in the Air Force said this was the best review ever. I loved forensic weather because you can use your talents and be left alone and is why I got out.

      • he should have made you a 4 star meteorologist. my b-i-l once predicted a flood in athens georgia & saved people . it was in the paper, when i was little.
i watch the hourly weather, b/c i can’t go outside unless it’s 70 degrees or warmer/ bronchitis and they are so stupid predicted the weather here…i’ve never seen such a stupid weather town..it will say 63 is the high at 4 pm & then at 11 pm, a commercial for the news says it was 71 today.. happens 4 days a week, they are wrong.

  1. Eagle Pond Farm

October in New Hampshire means colored leaves for kicking.
Donald kicks a few heading into town for cheese.
He notices that the antique dealer, once again, announced
The coming of winter by changing his sign. It now reads:
“Driveways Plowed, Reasonable Rates.” The type of
    De-evolution Donald appreciates.

Standard time ensures contrast, as autumn’s last bonfire
Sends a leaf-shaped spark into the air.
A simple way of life is free to walk around without inspection:
So Donald does. He checks out of Najur’s General Store
With Gouda and N.Y. Sharp Cheddar tucked away.
He climbs up the knoll then down the driveway to the farm.
He kicks a pinecone to the safety of the woods.
He exhales steam that quickly disappears.
He can almost see ice forming on the pond.

  2. amusing!! and it hints at an interesting point: a lot of people, i think, including researchers, tend to make conclusions on animal behaviour based on human attributes, habits and behaviours. what an assumption so many of us make!

  3. Interesting point. People do think like that, don’t they? I always assumed that animals were closer to Buddhists, because they seem to live lives more in harmony with nature than we humans. I used this belief when writing The Red Claw, where cats viewed Hathor as a sort of Goddess & Anubis is the dog god. 😉
